Vimby (video in my backyard) was created to capture pop culture locally via original short form content. I co-founded the video-based web site in 2007. A production model was designed where “preditor” filmmakers were utilized in 18 of the biggest media markets that produced, shot, and edited their own docu-style films based on a production bible I formulated from my MTV days. I can proudly say we were way ahead of the digital video game and were the first to feature artists like Lady Gaga, Wale, Kid Cudi and B.o.B. on-line. In 2010, Vimby went on to become the Mark Burnett Digital Studio.
