When I was a 19 year-old intern working for fashion designer Anna Sui in NYC, I got into a conversation with her that somehow ended with Anna shouting, “It took me twenty years to make it.” I must have said something in regards to my eagerness to take over the world at that very moment to illicit such a statement. Fast-forward 20 years and those words have been bubbling in my head as of late, and I now have a better understanding of what she meant. Not that I feel that “I’ve made it” in the conventional sense… but professionally as an artist, I can securely look back at my journey, be proud of what I’ve achieved, and happily share my work with you.
The work showcased on the site goes back a few years – mainly starting with my entre’ into the commercial and broadcast world. The site will be regularly updated as I continue my adventure into the new media landscape.
